Tennessee Valley Rail Road -Missionary

Details: Oliva, of Tennessee Valley Rail Road, has invited us to start our
adventure on the Tennessee Valley Rail Road’s Missionary Ridge
Local Excursion trip beginning at the Grand Junction Station in
Chattanooga and taking passengers along one of the original rail road
lines in Chattanooga, crossing four bridges and passing through
pre-Civil War Missionary Ridge Tunnel which was completed 1858.
The train stops at East Chattanooga allowing passengers to see the locomotive rotated on the turn table and you will participate in a tour into the rail road restoration shop before re-boarding for the return trip. The round trip time is approximately 55 - 60 minutes. |

For our Golfers we have a Tennessee Golf Tournament at
the Sevierville Golf club. For those who want more Golf
you can come a day earlier and play the Highlands course at Sevier Golf
Club. We will use the same format as we used in Sebring, the
Stableford scoring system. USGA Stroke Play Rules in force other than below: How it works subtract your handicap e.g. Charlies handicap is 18 from 36 the reason for 36 represents scratch golfer or par on every hole so subtract 18 his handicap. 2 or more over par -0 points 1 over par - 1 point Par - 2 points 1 under -3 points 2 under - 4 points 3 under - 5 points and so on |
